Q: What kind of experience do you have?

A: We have been in business for over 10 years and in that time we have been certified in various destinations and suppliers. Some of our partner brands include, but are not limited to:  Cruises - Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Virgin Voyages, NCL; Hotels/Resorts - Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, Hard Rock, Moon Palace;  Airlines - American, Delta, United, Frontier, Southwest; Tour Companies - Apple Leisure Group, Classic Vacations, GT Experiences, Kensington Tours; Insurance - Allianz.


Q: Do you have a website where I can book my own travel?

A: Yes.  You can access our booking engine from the Home and the Deals pages. Options there will be a la carte. If you have a group, would like a customized package or desire flexible payment options, please submit a request for a quote and schedule a consultation.


Q: I usually book my trips myself, why should I use a travel agent?

A: Using a travel agent--especially one who specializes in luxury travel and customized itineraries--saves you time, stress, and often, money. At Flights Of Passage, we bring expert insight, global partnerships, and personal experience to craft travel that fits your unique style and needs. We handle the logistics troubleshoot if anything goes wrong, and often have access to exclusive perks, upgrades, and experiences you won't find online.


Q: What kinds of trips can I book with you?

A: We can book everything that Travel Agents have traditionally been able to book: hotels, resorts, cruises, car rentals, airfare, vacation packages, rail trips, rental homes, villas, yachts, trip protection and so much more. My specialties are customized international travel, luxury getaways, and unique, off-the beaten-path experiences.


Q: Can you get me a cheap deal?

A: Sometimes--but our value goes far beyond price. While we often have access to exclusive rates and perks, our goal isn't to compete with faceless discount sites you may be accustomed to using. Instead, we offer personalized planning, expert recommendations, and insider access that online booking engines simply cannot match.


Q: Can we book AirBnB through you?

A: We do not work with AirBnB specifically however, our suppliers do carry apartment, condo, full home and villa rentals, many of which are often listed on AirBnB as well.


Q: Can you book group trips?

A: Yes, we handle all types of big events including destination weddings, vow renewals, family reunions, class reunions, sorority/fraternity trips, holy land tours, general affinity groups, corporate travel, M.I.C.E. etc. Groups of 5 rooms or more come with a website page customized specifically for your group. You can schedule a consultation on the Services page. 


Q: How soon can I book for a trip?

A: This varies by type of travel selected. Cruises tend to be available ~ 2-3 years out; hotels/resorts ~ 1-2 years out; and flights are not available until 330 days prior to your travel dates.


Q: What if I want to start paying on a hotel with dates that are 18 months out, but I'll also need airfare? Do I have to wait until 330 days before my travel dates?

A: Not necessarily.  Some of our suppliers allow for us to begin a hotel booking for you now, then we can add airfare once that becomes available.


Q: Do you charge a fee for me to book with you?

A: Commission is paid by our suppliers. However, we do collect a nominal, non-refundable consultation fee that is payable to directly to us before we begin work on any requests. We are very transparent, you can view an outline of the entire process, including the fee amounts, on the Services page.


Q: Do I need to pay my trip in full at booking or can I make payments?

A: A handful of our suppliers do require full payment at the time of booking however, most of them allow for flexible payment arrangements where you can confirm your booking with a deposit to lock in prices, and then pay over time. Final payment dates are set by the supplier and typically, these bookings need to be paid in full 45-60 days in advance of travel, cruises may be even sooner.


Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as some services that issue virtual cards. We also work with several "flex pay" services. Please discuss with your agent to determine which of these is the best option for your booking. 


Q: Can I pay with a check?

A: For your protection and ours, we do not accept cash, check or money orders, nor any electronic money transfer services (CashApp, Venmo, Paypal, etc) for payments on any bookings. There are additional options available for the Consultation Fee only, including Apple Pay. 


Q: How do I make payments?

A: Payment for your trip is made online only following Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards for the collection, transmission, storage and deletion of sensitive information. Your information is never written down, nor shared with anyone other than the supplier(s) used for your trip.


Q: How much will my deposit be?

A: Where flexible payment options are available, deposits can be as low as $50pp for hotel or cruise only bookings and $200pp for air and hotel packages. If trip protection is selected that will always be due when confirmed.


Q: Am I able to view my trip details anytime?

A: Yes. Once booked, you can view your trips in your browser or by downloading an app to your mobile device. Instructions will be provided with your first booking.


Q: Do you accommodate solo travelers?

A: Yes.  Some of my suppliers even have solo rates available where you aren't paying the full cost of a double room yourself.


Q: Do you ever conduct group trips that I can join in on? 

A: Yes.  We typically do at least one group trip annually that is open to anyone. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter and check back here often for updates.


Q: What happens if something goes wrong during my trip?

A: Be assured that we are here to troubleshoot and advocate on your behalf in the event major problems arise--something online booking engines can't match.


Q: I live outside the US, can you book my trip?

A: Unfortunately, no. Each country has very specific laws governing the booking of travel. However, we have business partners all over the world and could make a referral to a competent and accomplished travel agent in your area. Please send an email to FlightsOfPassage@gmail.com to inquire.
